Born in Accra, Ghana, 1982. Indian nationality.
Graduate in Economics and Management through the London School of Economics (LSE) university [1999-2002]. Continued her postgraduate studies by receiving a one-year grant and Doctoral Training in Quantitative Methods, Economics and Business at the Carlos III University of Madrid, whilst assisting with teaching Statistics and Econometrics to first year university students [2003-2004]. Besides English, she is fluent in Spanish.
Raksha has been a Teacher Trainer and faculty member of the Institute of Sathya Sai Education of South Europe (ISSE SE) since the year 2009 and has participated in SSEHV training programmes conducted in Spain as well as other European countries. She has worked in the field of Education for more than 15 years with experience at all educational levels, including formal and informal contexts. Raksha is passionate about Education in Human Values and has dedicated most of her professional life to implement an educational model that promotes human excellence, inspired by and based on the philosophy and methodology of Sathya Sai Educære.
Currently Raksha works in the British international school ‘Green Valley School’ in Palma de Mallorca, Spain where she teaches weekly Human Values lessons to all the primary and secondary students. She is also the Education in Human Values and Character-Building Director at the school, taking care of the social-emotional wellbeing of every child.
