Born in the United States of America, she moved to Italy, at the age of 12. She completed her studies at the Academy of Fine arts of Rome and worked in the editorial field for children as illustrator and project designer on a free-lance basis in Milano. Since 1996 she lives in the Italian Canton Ticino, of Switzerland.
She is part of the international website team of www.valuestransform.org, and has been collaborating with the Institute of Sathya Sai Education (ISSE SE), www.isse-se.org for many years as teacher trainer, and held the office of Vice-Director from 2021 to 2024; she contributed extensively to the development of the Institute’s EduCare magazines, Handbook and Website. She coordinates the quarterly online Newsletter “Education Today – Sathya Sai Education in Human Values”, https://www.isse-se.org/en/publications-new/newsletters .
Since 2019 she collaborates with the Italian website www.saivivere.org by providing value focused articles; she collaborates with the Association “Generazioni nel Cuore della Pace”, (Lugano – Switzerland), offering workshops to students from elementary to high school age during the annual Swiss Peace Forum. As a member of the editorial staff of a local Swiss magazine (GenteSana), she contributes with monthly articles and worksheets dedicated to Human Values. She is co-founder of the open space “Arte e Valori”, situated in Giubiasco, www.artevalori.ch, an initiative carried out with her husband since 2016. The space organises free exhibitions, cultural meetings and human values workshops, to which all are welcome from art lovers to children, with special attention to the elderly and people with disabilities.
She first published www.martyswatch.com in 2013, redesigned in 2024, as a container for the material developed over the years revolving around “The Story of Marty, a journey on planet Earth”. The site offers material support for parents, teachers and educators who understand the need and importance of supporting their children with values education and of fostering values in all aspects of life from the individual to the global community.
Suzanne works in the palliative ward of the cancer Institute of Bellinzona (Canton Ticino – Switzerland), in her capacity of volunteer of the Lega cancro Ticino (Cancer league of Ticino).
