Esthercris Puentes
Esthercris was born in Colombia, South America. She considers herself a global citizen and lives part of the year in Europe and part of the year in Colombia.
She graduated from the French school “Lycée Français Louis Pasteur” in Bogotá, where she learned the importance of logic and structure. She studied Psychology at the “Universidad Católica de Colombia”, and obtained a diploma in Business Management at the “Universidad de los Andes” in Bogotá. She graduated as a Vedic Master of the “Chopra Center University” in San Diego, California, and is an Executive’s Mentor and Certified Coach of the “International Coach Federation” in USA. She has trained in various therapeutic approaches such as NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), MBCT (mindfulness-based cognitive therapy), meditation and psychotherapy, and Bach Flower Essences for emotion management.
Deeply inspired by the profound teachings of her spiritual master Sathya Sai in India and supported by the American pragmatism of her studies, she is a mixture of cultures, skills and knowledge.
She has more than 30 years of experience as a trainer of executives and their teams with clients of multinational companies from more than 15 different countries all over the world. She is an expert on Collective Intelligence and is a co-author of the book “Co-development, to grow thanks to collectivity” that was published in Spanish and French. She has written articles, documents and made videos introducing human values within the organizations. She created the “Circle of Presidents” a space aimed to expand conscious in top level executives based on developing wise ways of interacting.
Human values and spirituality have inspired her work with managers throughout her professional business career, and also her holistic approach when doing psychotherapy to her patients.
She co-founded the Sathya Sai Institute of Human Values of Colombia in 1999 and has given trainings and lectures in different countries of Latin America giving support to other ISSE’s too. She was the Central Coordinator of Region 22 -Colombia, Venezuela, Perú and Equator- for the Sathya Sai International Organization. She is part of the team of the ISSE SE and loves to create bridges between European and Latin American Sathya Sai Institutes.
