The Human Values List
The 5 Universal Values of Truth, Right Action, Peace, Love and Nonviolence are the pillars of the Sathya Sai Education in Human Values programme. Where do we find these Values? Right inside of us! When we close our eyes and sit quietly we can feel their warmth within our heart. All we need to do to make them visibile is to bring them out! How do we bring them out? It's simple! By practicing them!
There are many value aspects related to each one of the 5 Human Values. As we learn more about how they improve our lives and help us live together in friendship and harmony, it will become easy to make them flourish. As we care for the values that lie within our hearts like the seeds we cultivate in a garden, they will grow stronger and stronger and blossom within us. When this happens their sweet fragrance will fill the air with Goodness! As we share these values with more and more people, our hearts will become lighter and brighter, too, and the whole world will light up and shine in full colour, bringing happiness to everyone! Just like a beautiful garden!
